According to a survey of online users in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India, as of January 2022, around 61 percent of respondents in the three examined countries reported engaging more with video calls for work than before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Around 43 percent of users in the UK reported watching more video streamed content, while a larger number of users in India reported seeing an increase in their video and music streaming habits. Additionally, 45 percent of respondents in India reported engaging more in online dating compared to before the start of the coronavirus pandemic, while 34 percent of respondents in the U.S. and only 25 percent of respondents in the UK reported doing the same.
