Production quantity of ginger in Nigeria 2010-2021

As of 2021, the amount of ginger produced in Nigeria reached about 726,000 metric tons. In the preceding year, around 734,000 metric tons of the flowering plant were produced. Considering the period under study, the peak of ginger production in Nigeria was achieved in 2017, with 834,600 metric tons. In contrast, in 2010, a lower produced quantity of some 162,200 metric tons was registered.
