Whether it's faster pickup and payment options, lower consumption, or fear of catching the COVID-19, data on geolocated U.S. mobile users showed that time spent in Amazon and Whole Foods Markets stores declined on the last quarter of 2021 and in the first quarter of 2022.
In the first three months of 2022, consumers spent 23 percent less time at Amazon Fresh stores, if compared to the same period the previous year.
