Medical care cascade in Mexico in 2021
According to a survey carried out in 2021, about two in every ten people reported having a health care need in Mexico during that year. By that same period, roughly 88 percent of people in need of medical services searched for health care, while 87 percent of those who searched for these services received medical care, and 40 percent of those who received medical care made use of public health institutions.
