According to a survey carried out in 2021, 60 percent of clinicians surveyed in the Asia Pacific region believed that in ten years' time patients who can demonstrate they actively maintain their health (e.g. via wearables) will be given preference for medical treatment highest share across all regions. While, only 26 percent of clinicians in South America thought that in future preferential treatment would be given to patients who can show they actively maintain their health via technology.
