At the beginning of 2023, the largest group of foreign citizens living in Norway came from Poland. There were nearly 112,000 Poles living in Norway that year. Lithuanians and Swedes made up the second and third largest groups, with nearly 50,000 and nearly 37,000 inhabitants each. More than 600,000 foreign citizens lived in Norway that year.
