As of the 2019/2020 crop year, the production of sugar cane in Morocco amounted to around 7.9 million quintals. The region of Rabat - Salé - Kénitra was the main producing region in the country, with an output of approximately 6.5 million quintals. The Tanger - Tétouan - Al Hoceima region accounted for the remaining 1.4 million quintals.
