As of the 2018/2019 crop year, the total production of cereals in Morocco amounted to over 53 million quintals. With nearly 15 million quintals, the region of Fès - Meknès accounted for the largest cereal production in the country that year. The area of Rabat - Salé - Kénitra followed, making up almost 13 million quintals.
