According to a survey conducted in Japan in October 2021, respondents in the age group of 20 to 29 years old agreed most with the statement that they had fewer problems with friends due to the COVID-19 pandemic, at more than 40 percent. The groups that rejected the statement the most were teenagers aged 15 to 19, at almost 40 percent, and seniors aged 60 to 69, at around 35 percent.
