Casablanca is the most populous province in Morocco, with around 3.6 million inhabitants as of 2020. To follow, the province of Marrakesh had a total population of roughly 1.4 million, while 1.25 million people lived in the area of Fès. The majority of Morocco's population lived in the regions of Casablanca-Settat and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra in 2021.
