During a 2023 survey carried out among retail media brand/seller marketers from North America, it was found that paid social ads were considered the most important for the respondents in their retail media programs in 2023. In 2024,four formats were expected to take the first place: paid social ads, sponsored products ads, search engine ads, as well as sponsored display and retargeting.
