Health and fitness app downloads in the U.S. as of Q4 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, downloads of mobile health and fitness apps in the United States amounted to 82 million, up by approximately nine percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2019. Health and fitness apps experienced a peak in downloads during the second quarter of 2020, when apps in this category amassed 89 million downloads from the Google Play Store, and an additional 31 million downloads from the Apple App Store.
