Digital services used to manage health in the U.S. 2016-2021

According to a survey of adults in the United States in 2021, less than two in 10 respondents reported using mobile phone or tablet applications to manage their health. This represents a decrease from the previous year when 35 percent of respondents reported using mobile apps to manage their health. By comparison, the number of respondents engaging in virtual consultations with their medical providers grew from seven percent in 2020 to 35 percent in 2021.
