As of February 2022, the first apps appearing to users in the Google Play Store results page used the hyphen symbol "-" in their titles around 1,715 times. The colon symbol ":" ranked second, with 1,264 mentions in the highest-ranking apps, while the ampersand symbol "&" ranked third with 1,102 mentions.
