As of February 2022, mobile gaming apps had the highest rating across all the examined categories, with the leading 10 health and fitness titles recommended in the Google Play Store presenting an average rating of 4.15 stars. Health and fitness apps had a median rating of 4.32 stars and an average rating of 4.12. By comparison, food and drink apps had the lowest rating on the Google Play Store, with users leaving an average of 3.74 stars to the leading apps in this category. The leading 10 titles appearing to users looking to install shopping apps presented a median rating of 4.1 stars and an average rating of 3.97 stars.
