According to a survey that was conducted on the utilization of fitness services or facilities in August 2023 in Japan, 7.3 percent of men stated that they used these facilities without the guidance of a personal trainer, while 5.4 percent were doing so under the guidance of a personal trainer within the past year. The majority of respondents stated that they had no experience of using commercial fitness services and were not interested in it either.
