According to a survey conducted in Japan from October to December 2020, 89 percent of male respondents aged between 60 to 69 years old watched real-time television on an almost daily basis. While the share was almost equally high among men in their fifties and those aged 70 years and older, it was considerably lower among younger age cohorts.
