In 2021, more than 40 percent of surveyed consumers in the United States used Facebook when looking for promo codes, discounts, or coupons, making it the preferred social media platform for bargain hunters. Roughly 30 percent of U.S. consumers also used Instagram, while only about five percent of participants mentioned LinkedIn.
