Most common reasons for not purchasing earthquake insurance Japan 2021
High insurance premiums were the leading reason for not purchasing earthquake insurance in Japan, according to a survey conducted from July to August 2021. While premiums were the negative factor for around 41 percent of the respondents, about 23 percent chose not to take out earthquake insurance because they were not sure how it worked.
