The share of women present on French television and on French radio has reached an all-time high in 2022. The visibility experienced significant differences however when it is broken down to the different program categories. Although there are categories where women are nearly equally represented on radio and television broadcast - for instance magazines (51 percent), and entertainment (44 percent) - they are still highly underrepresented in sport programs (21 percent).
