According to a survey in 2020 among Chinese alcohol consumers, around 58 percent of respondents said that they drink beer because of the fresh taste. In comparison, about 37.6 percent of the respondents stated that they drink beer to match the food.
Major reasons for drinking beer among Chinese alcohol consumers in 2020
The survey is conducted among respondents who come from Yangtze Delta, Pearl River Delta, The Jingjinji Metropolitan Region, and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.
