Growth rate of renewable energy investment in Africa 2010-2020
In 2020, renewable energy investment in Africa decreased by 24 percent, in comparison to the previous year. Since 2010, private and public investments in renewables in the continent have fluctuated annually but have kept an overall expanding trend. In terms of total value, investments in renewable energy in Africa amounted to 2.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
