In the second quarter of 2024, around nine percent of visits to e-commerce websites in the Nordic countries came from social media referrals, at a slightly lower rate than the global average. Tablets contributed the most, as roughly 27 percent of their traffic to e-commerce sites was generated from social media links. Meanwhile, of all visits made via desktop computers, only one percent had social networks as a source.
