According to a survey from December 2021, 76 percent of the respondents in Indonesia preferred virtual influencers who spoke Bahasa. In general, respondents in four out of six selected countries preferred virtual influences with the same respective language of communication. Meanwhile, the majority of respondents in Thailand and in Singapore stayed neutral on this topic.
