A survey carried out in Colombia in 2022 showed the public opinion of respondents on selected political leaders in the country. Gustavo Petro, Colombian Senator and presidential candidate in 2018, had the highest approval rating, with nearly 55 percent of respondents with a positive opinion on him. Moreover, Petro was leading the presidential race a few months before the elections of May 2022. On the other hand, Colombian president, Iván Duque, had the highest rejection rate, with 75.3 percent of negative response from those surveyed.
