Spain's natural gas storage amounted to some 35.91 terawatts hour (TWh) on October 1, 2024, accounting for 100.23 percent of its capacity. This figure represents a slight decrease in comparison to the same month the previous year. Every year, the quarterly gas reserves show minimum values in April, followed by a steady increase until October, when they register the highest annual figure. Capacities over 100 percent indicate storage above technical capacities, which may be possible in the short term.
