The survey respondents are leading businesses and establishments that operate in the credit card service industry and generate high sales values covering about 70 percent of the yearly sales value of the industry in Japan.
The statistic refers to the credit sales business, which accounted for 98.4 percent of the total amount handled in the credit card industry.
