The European Union's gas storage volume amounted to 1,082.64 terawatts hour (TWh) on October 1, 2024, accounting for approximately 94.36 percent of its capacity. This was roughly the same amount stored as a year prior. Every year, the quarterly gas reserves show minimum values in April, followed by a steady increase until October, when they register the highest annual figure.
