In 2020, around 25 percent of Ghana's population used Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) as their primary source for cooking. This followed the minimally increasing trend observed since 2013. That year, 22.3 percent of the population relied on LPG as their main cooking source. Other fuels for cooking in the country included electricity, charcoal, and firewood.
