Global destinations most dependent on Russian tourism 2022, by inbound flight seats

A study published in February 2022 explored the global travel destinations most dependent on Russian tourism by looking at the number of seats scheduled on inbound flights between February 24 and August 24, 2022. According to the analysis, Turkey ranked first with nearly two million scheduled bookings on inbound flights from Russia, followed by Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The list also included several European countries that banned flights from Russia at the end of February 2022 as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, such as Germany and Greece, with around 553 thousand and 304 thousand inbound scheduled tickets, respectively.
