Distribution of livestock producers in Angola 2019-2020, by type
Livestock farming in Angola is mostly conducted by smallholder farmers. In the agricultural year 2019/2020, the country had 1,522 livestock producers, of which over 60 percent belonged to family farming. Commercial farmers accounted for roughly one-third of the total.
