In 2022, more than half of Taiwanese cryptocurrency investors were younger than 24 years old. Only around 10 percent of investors were over the age of 35. The skewed age distribution originates from the crypto-environment's reliance on internet culture that promotes digital coins and NFTs as a viable investment vehicle.
