As of December 31, 2023, France issued the highest value of sustainability debt in Europe, amounting to nearly 40 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Germany with 32 billion U.S. dollars. Among the fifteen countries listed, Cyprus had the lowest value of sustainability debt issued, worth just over one billion U.S. dollars.
