Large-scale industrial usage is the most attractive type of hydrogen investment. As of November 2021, there were a total of 221 such projects worldwide. Ranking second was the transport sector, with a global sum of 133 projects for the usage of clean hydrogen in trains, ships, trucks and cars. Clean hydrogen investments have taken off in recent years as a result of governmental plans and support schemes.
