According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2020 in India, 30 percent of consumers stated that their frequency of shopping at supermarkets has somewhat decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, 30 percent of respondents stated that their supermarket shopping frequency has somewhat increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.
