Online shopping intensity decreased in Hungary between 2021 and 2023 in all product categories. Clothes and shoes were the leading online product category, with 47 percent of the respondents having purchased these articles online over the past year. In comparison, only 14 percent of the survey participants had ordered DIY and construction articles over the internet.
