According to a survey carried out in 2021, one in five professionals implementing digital commerce initiatives worked in the manufacturing industry. IT and telecommunications followed in the ranking, with 12 percent of respondents starting business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce operations. Meanwhile, just five percent of wholesalers taking part in the survey decided to sell their products and services online that year.
