On average, Russians aged 15 years and older worked 38.3 hours per week in the second quarter of 2023, which was slightly less than in the previous quarter. In general, the mean working time decreased over the course of 2021. In the second quarter of 2020, when Russia had a lockdown due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the average time worked fell to 31.6 hours a week.
