Share of vegans and vegetarians in the Netherlands by gender 2020
The result from a 2020 survey in the Netherlands indicate that roughly 0.4 percent of Dutch consumers have a fully plant-based, or vegan, diet. When looking at the share of vegetarians, a clear difference between men and women can be observed. According to this survey, women are more than double as likely to be vegetarians as men.
