According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Japan in April 2021, more than 63 percent of male respondents used online video streaming websites as a source of information about music. While the share was lower in the case of female respondents, video streaming websites were the most commonly used source of information for both men and women, followed by television and music streaming services.
