In a survey conducted among Southeast Asians making hiring decisions in their current roles, more than 50 percent of respondents across all surveyed countries stated diverse work experiences as one of the advantages when hiring job hoppers. While the survey unveiled several advantages, the respondent group also shared a variety of concerns about hiring job hoppers.
The term job hopper generally refers to someone who stays at a company for a short period of time, e.g. less than a year, before transferring to another company.
