According to a survey among senior commercial real estate executives in finance, operations, talent, and technology conducted between July and August 2021, investing in advanced and innovative technology solutions was the most important sustainability action in North America. Approximately 70 percent of the respondents were likely to take this action in order to minimize their environmental impact in the next 12 to 18 months. Climate-related financing, on the other hand was the least popular action, with about 52 percent of respondents planning to adopt it.
