In 2020, China Telecom's average revenue per user (ARPU) from its 5G services amounted to almost 66 yuan, which was almost 50 percent higher than the average revenue from its general mobile network services. The ARPU of the three large telecom companies in the mobile network segment was 46 yuan in the same year.
