Teleconsultations soared in France during the coronavirus pandemic, and especially psychiatric consultations. In January 2020, only 800 teleconsultations were registered in the country. During the same month a year later, over 31.4 thousand online consultations took place. In April 2020, the number of psychiatric teleconsultations notably reached a peak of 77.6 thousand.
