According to a report published by UNESCO in February 2022, the Bienal de São Paulo (São Paulo Art Biennial) reported the highest share of female artists and curators among the 20 selected art biennales worldwide between 2018 and 2020. In contrast, only 33 percent of artists and curators at the International Biennial of Casablanca were female.
