U.S. adults views on the metaverse 2022

As of January 2022, 30 percent of surveyed adults in the United States said that an accurate description of their view of the metaverse was that it would not be as good as real life. Overall, 26 percent of respondents said that they viewed the metaverse as the future of technology and almost a quarter said that the metaverse was a new way for tech companies to figure out a way to make money. Additionally, nine percent said they viewed the metaverse as a better alternative to real life.
