From 2012 to 2019, the prevalence of anaemia among women of reproductive age in Venezuela showed an increasing trend. The highest prevalence value in the Latin American country was recorded in 2019 when approximately 24.2 percent of women aged between 15 and 49 years suffered from anaemia, an estimated increase of 3.3 percentage points compared to 2012 figures.
