The majority of U.S. video streaming consumers to a 2024 survey who canceled their subscription stated that they did so because they needed to save money. Further nearly one in three respondents reported that the free subscription trial ended, while 27 percent of people interviewed stated that they finished watching what they wanted to on the service.
