The majority of Russians preferred food products of national origin to those imported from other countries, according to a survey from May 2021. To compare, seven out of ten survey participants preferred household appliances manufactured abroad.
If the prices of domestic and imported products were equal, which one would you buy?
The sum of answers is less than 100percent for each product category, since the share of respondents who found it "difficult to answer" is not included.
The survey was conducted in no fewer than 80 regions, 500 cities and urban-type settlements, and 100 villages.
The original survey question was phrased by the source as follows: "Скажите, пожалуйста, при равной цене Вы бы купили отечественный или импортный продукт?"
