Japan: leading music listening methods by gender 2021

In a survey conducted in Japan in December 2020, almost 46 percent of the male respondents stated that they use YouTube in order to listen to music. While the share among men was slightly higher than the share among women in the case of YouTube, women were more likely to use television as a means to listen to music.
